Length: Approximate 157 workdays Respond By: April 27, 2012 Responsibilities & Deliverables: * Review, finalize and maintain Application Architecture work plan, such as tasks, activities, resources and effort required to meet project development and architectural governance requirements including consultations for the revision, review and approval of the Application Architecture; * From the application?s baseline business architecture, develop Application Architecture documentations to support client?s internal architectural approval process (Checkpoint 1 &2; Checkpoint 3) for the project according to project timeline and leading to their implementation: * Perform requirements analysis to ensure enterprise architecture alignment and traceability, including: preparation of Application Architecture input materials (including draft use case list, function model mapping, appropriate Business Architecture extractions and alignment) for fit/gap and design workshops; and feedback and review of working session functional requirements / use case documentation outputs; * Conduct and support the fit/gap analysis and design workshop activities for COTS products, client?s Enterprise Shared Services, Cluster Common Application Platform and legacy systems to to identify any customization needs, refine functional and non-functional requirements and related design changes and update the related Application Architecture documentation accordingly; * Produce all required packaged COTS product conceptual, logical and physical design models based on Cluster and project architecture decisions to support Application Architecture development; * Refine and update application architectures to ensure that all security concerns raised in PIA and TRA are met; * Provide input for project planning and scoping. Support all project and team management activities; * Obtain business and project approval for all the application and technical architecture artefacts deliverables; * Follow client and cluster Enterprise Architecture related standards, guidelines and best practices. Ensure the application architecture artefacts and deliverables meet governance quality requirements, align with overall enterprise architecture vision and Cluster Common Architecture Reference models; * Participate in cluster wide application architecture initiatives to promote solution component reusability. Assist in the development of a Common Cluster Architecture Reference models and Application Usage Patterns; * Provide effective knowledge transfer to cluster or client?s staff at all stages of this assignment. Participate in design review to ensure architecture alignment during solution implementation. Provide guidance to solution delivery team in the areas of development environment and quality assurance strategy; * Review and adhere to client?s Quality Service Standards which will be provided by the contract manager/Client Representative; * Coordinate with other subject matter experts in all areas of architecture and design to ensure project schedule is followed, tracked and updated to achieve major milestones, including architecture checkpoints and project gates. Mandatory: * Demonstrated 4+ years of hands on experience and strong functional skills working with Oracle EBS Financials R12 based solutions with demonstrated experience in design and implementing the solutions using the following modules such as GL, AR, AP, CM, FA, etc. and EBS integration architecture; * 5+ years of enterprise architecture planning, design and development experience with advanced skills in identifying, analyzing and transforming business requirements to system requirements and solution architecture design; * 7+ years of full life cycle of SDLC experience and demonstrated skills of structured and OOAD methodologies in designing and developing large scale enterprise solutions using RUP and Agile processes; * Extensive experience in methods, techniques, and tools pertaining to the architecture development with 7+ years expertise in object oriented modelling language (UML) and OOAD tools (Sybase PowerDesigner and IBM RSA) to create all the logical and physical architecture design models; * Recent (within the last 2 years) OPS experience in developing logical and physical application architecture design models, components, artefacts and deliverables adhere to OPS enterprise architecture standards and guidelines; * Experience in designing, developing, testing and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) compliant web-based systems; * Hands on experience of applying Zachman and TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Frameworks in building enterprise architecture and managing architecture development lifecycle; * 7+ years hands on experience of designing and developing large scale J2EE multi-tier web based application architectures with experience and skills in using technologies such as PKI, AAA/SSO, LDAP, Enterprise J2EE Application Server, RDBMS/JDBC, Web Frameworks, Web Services/SOA, JCA/ESB integration middleware etc. in enterprise application development to improve security, performance, scalability and availability; * Experience with the following computing platforms: UNIX (IBM AIX or SUN Solaris) operating systems, RDBM database (Oracle or DB2) programming languages (Java and C++) and communications protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, etc.); * Hands on experience in designing and developing integrated solution using COTS based products such as Curam Case Management Systems, Oracle EBS Financials, OpenText ECM, Cognos Reporting and other packaged solutions and integration technologies such as Web Services, SOA/ESB, JCA, etc.; * Experience with data integration and reporting using Informatica ETL, Cognos reporting and other tools and technologies; * Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, coordination, facilitation and conflict management skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills; * Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment with a track record for meeting deadlines; and * Proven experience in preparing, leading and facilitating Architecture / Joint Planning Workshops.
