Established in 1987, Fidelity Investments Canada Limited is Canada?s eighth largest mutual fund company. Fidelity Canada is part of the Fidelity Investments organization of Boston, one of the world?s largest providers of financial services, which has over 20 million customers and has total managed assets of U.S. $1.1 trillion (as at August 31, 2005). In Canada, Fidelity manages a total of $37 billion in mutual fund and corporate pension plan assets ($CAD, as at October 30, 2005). Headquartered in Toronto, Fidelity Canada has regional offices in Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver.
Fidelity Canada has two major lines of business:
Fidelity Advisor and Alliance Distribution (FAAD) delivers investment products through third party distributors, including planners, brokers, insurance agents and institutional alliances.
Fidelity Retirement Services (FRS) provides defined contribution and defined benefit products and services to plan sponsors.
